Really enjoyed the visit. Came at about 2pm on a Saturday. The service was great. Staff very friendly. Got a apple crumble and rhubarb. Came with ice cream and cream. Cappuccino was really nice. Not burnt or bitter. Will definitely come back.

Nice Cafe with inside seating and corridor seating heading towards a hotel reception. Used to have seating on the sidewall but that was lost to the cross river rail construction project. Even though there is a construction site in front of the Cafe it doesn't disturb as the site workers don't actually do anything which is why this project is 2 years overdue and still not finished. There is a good range of breakfast options. Midrange price but not too expensive. Coffee was well made and breakfast order came quickly. Staff were a little slow to take order but the Cafe has QR ordering if you run out of patience waiting for staff. It was particularly hot when I was there for breakfast and there isn't air conditioning in the corridor seating area (or if there is it was ineffective). Overall while there were a few issues it was a good experience overall, would return and recommend

This was our first visit and we chose it for breakfast. The cafe was around 3/4 full and we were gratefully amazed with the speed of our food to arrive. The photo attached was the big breakfast, quantity was no issue, nor was the quality. My wife got the French toast, it was equally substantial. We would happily return.

From the outside it looks like a simple cafe but from the inside the meals and service is more akin to a restaurant. It has a kinda French “side of the road cafe” feel about it. The food is of a great quality and the portions and generous. It’s kinda Mexican fusion and well worth a trip.

Great place for breakky after getting thrashed in the mosh with a mad hangover. Literally the best breakky roll I’ve had and the iced chocolate actually tasted like chocolate, not just a couple pumps of syrup and same goes with their fantastic mocha 👌 the staff are legends! Thanks so much guys

Maybe the best lunch steak ever at any pub. Great service. Thick steak, not the usual thin cuts that cant be cooked properly. No fancy char lines, just good steak. Chips could have been cooked longer but they were hot.

This little gem is worth a visit for breakfast.It is one of the best breakfasts I have ever had.Beautiful little spot inviting and warm.The food was cooked to perfection.Nothing was too much trouble.The waiter Josh was fabulous.Nothing was too much trouble.From the greeting till the goodbye you felt as if you mattered.I wish every business could have one of Josh.I highly recommend eating here.I am fussy and I had not one thing to even worry about.Thank you Cafe Mondial
